Job summary

KBR in Colorado Springs, CO, seeks a Senior Test and Evaluation Engineer to support STARCOM TES at Schriever SFB. Active TS/SCI clearance with SAP eligibility required. Lead design, development, and execution of advanced test programs for space systems, applying DOE methods to produce actionable results.

Responsibilities include decomposing complex systems into testable elements, developing plans and reports, and mentoring staff while advancing national security missions.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with SAP eligibility
• 10+ years in space/test engineering for DoD space programs
• Experience with modeling/simulation, HWIL, and DOE methods
• Ability to decompose complex systems for test objectives

Responsibilities

• Assist planning, coordination, and execution of space tests & experiments
• Design, develop, and execute advanced test programs for space systems
• Apply DOE and statistics to increase test efficiency and produce actionable results
• Create and review test documentation: plans, data analysis, safety and test reports
• Perform data analysis to design tests, define data collection, and establish go/no-go criteria
• Work with programs to review systems and ensure DMAP data requirements are met
• Execute simulations to predict system effectiveness under operational conditions
• Monitor M&S data and guide test result evaluation
• Create test reports and enhance data analysis tools
