Job summary

Saratoga Federal in Colorado Springs seeks a Space Test & Evaluation Support SME to lead T&E campaigns for the US Space Force STARCOM and related portfolios. This on-site role at Schriever Space Force Base requires deep space systems expertise and proven DoD test experience.

You will design tests, coordinate DT/OT/IT&E activities, oversee M&S and HWIL analyses, and deliver concise senior-level reports. A TS/SCI clearance and STEM degree are required; preferred credentials include USAF Test Pilot

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Operations Research, Physics, Mathematics or related field.
• 10+ years in DoD space systems engineering or test & evaluation.
• Deep understanding of space architectures, orbital mechanics, sensors EO/IR/RF.
• Experience with DoE, regression testing, statistical analysis.
• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and execution of DT, OT, and IT&E for space systems.
• Navigate DoD acquisition lifecycle and TEMP alignment.
• Oversee M&S and HWIL analyses; provide go/no-go recommendations.
• Act as liaison among program offices, contractors, and test agencies.
• Author high-level test plans, safety packages, and technical reports.
