Job summary

KBR in Colorado Springs seeks a Senior Test and Evaluation Engineer to support STARCOM TES at Schriever SFB. This role requires an active TS/SCI with SAP eligibility and extensive DoD space/test experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant STEM field.
• 10+ years of systems/test engineering experience with space/DoD.
• Understanding of test, evaluation and experimentation.
• Familiar with modeling/simulation, DOE, regression testing.
• Team-oriented with ability to support design reviews and test execution.
• Willing to adapt to evolving roles for customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordination and execution of space systems tests and experiments.
• Design, develop, and execute advanced test programs to assess space systems.
• Apply statistical tools to increase test efficiency and produce actionable results.
• Create and review test documentation (plans, safety packages, reports).
• Analyze pre-test predictions using M&S/HWIL to design test events and data needs.
• Ensure DMAP data collection for real-time and post-mission analysis.
• Set up data analysis requests, perform quality control and anomaly resolution.
• Run simulations to evaluate system effectiveness under operational conditions.
• Monitor data collection and evaluate configurations against specs.
• Create test reports/presentations and enhance data analysis tools.
