Job summary

ITS, LLC seeks a Senior Test and Evaluation Engineer to join the team at Schriever SFB, CO. The Senior T&E Range Liaison will support STARCOM TES, with experience across acquisition lifecycle, contractor and developmental testing, and live-fire testing for space systems.

Ideal candidates will break complex systems into functional elements, define test objectives, and stay current with T&E and M&S tools. Must be able to self-teach and adapt to evolving roles.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree with 10+ years in systems or test engineering for DoD/space programs.
• Experience across acquisition lifecycle and multiple T&E phases.
• Familiarity with live-fire testing and DoD VV&A processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordination and execution of space systems tests and experiments.
• Design, develop and execute advanced test/experimentation programs to assess space systems.
• Apply statistical tools such as design of experiments to increase test efficiency.
• Create and review test documentation (test plans, safety packages, data analysis reports).
• Perform analysis on pre-test predictions to design test events and define go/no-go criteria.
• Review systems to ensure data collection plans support real-time and post-mission analysis.
• Set up data analysis requests and perform quality control on data.
• Execute simulations to evaluate system effectiveness under operational conditions.
• Monitor M&S data and guide evaluation to meet customer specs and performance expectations.
• Create test reports/presentations of complex data sets and enhance data analysis tools.
