Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems in Redondo Beach, CA, is seeking an Engineer/Principal Engineer (Level 2/3) to join the Specialty Test Team. The role supports Structural Test, Measurements/Instrumentation, Alignments and Hazardous Operations, with opportunities to cross-train.

You will set up, program, operate and maintain data acquisition systems, participate in readiness reviews, and contribute to test planning and reporting, with a 9/80 schedule and potential travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in STEM with related experience.
• Experience in structural/flight test environments.
• Ability to obtain DoD clearance (Secret/Top Secret).

Responsibilities

• Setup, program, operate, and maintain load control and data acquisition systems.
• Plan equipment and personnel for test requirements.
• Contribute to development, fabrication and assembly of mechanical/electromechanical components.
• Participate in readiness reviews throughout testing.
• Participate in post-test data evaluation and issue resolutions.
