Job summary

Vantor is seeking a Technical Program Manager, Ground Systems to lead the VEGA program, driving the implementation of a next-generation ground architecture for the Vantage and Pulse satellite constellations. You will coordinate engineering, operations, software, infra, and cybersecurity to ensure on-schedule delivery aligned with strategy.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Typically 12+ years of experience leading complex technical programs.
• Demonstrated experience managing large cross-functional engineering programs.
• Experience delivering ground systems, mission operations systems, satellite operations infra, cloud-based platforms.
• Proven ability to develop integrated program plans, milestones, dependencies, and multi-organization execution.
• Experience identifying, communicating, and mitigating risks.
• Strong systems engineering, integration, verification, validation, and operational readiness understanding.
• Effective communication across engineers, leadership, executives, customers, and partners.
• Experience leading technical reviews and executive-level forums.
• Strong organizational skills and ownership mentality.
• PMP/PgMP/Agile/SAFe beneficial but not required.
• Active U.S. security clearance desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution of the VEGA implementation roadmap across engineering, mission ops, infra, cybersecurity, and software teams.
• Coordinate delivery of ground architecture supporting Vantage and Pulse constellations.
• Drive cross-functional planning, dependency management, and milestone tracking across multiple orgs.
• Partner with engineering leadership to align architectural decisions with objectives, scalability, and platform strategy.
• Establish program governance, reviews, decision frameworks, and executive reporting.
• Identify and resolve program risks with data-driven decisions.
• Ensure integration of automation to improve efficiency, reliability, and mission responsiveness.
