Job summary

Vantor is seeking a Technical Program Manager, Space Systems, to lead one of our most advanced space programs from system design through IOC. You will coordinate engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, launch prep, mission operations, and customer stakeholders to deliver a cohesive operational space capability.

The role requires balancing technical understanding with rigorous execution, driving milestones, and mitigating risks across internal and external teams.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen per the job requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or related technical discipline.
• 10+ years delivering complex aerospace or high‑reliability hardware programs.
• Experience leading cross‑functional programs spanning multiple engineering organizations and suppliers.
• Strong understanding of spacecraft development lifecycles from design through operations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to travel to customer locations, suppliers, and launch sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution of space system programs from design through IOC.
• Coordinate internal engineering and external partners for spacecraft development.
• Balance technical understanding with execution to meet milestones and objectives.
• Manage schedules, risks, suppliers, and operational activities to align with mission goals.
• Ensure cross‑functional teams deliver cohesive mission capabilities from LEOP to on‑orbit operations.
• Drive program priorities and resolve issues to maintain delivery pace.
