Job summary

Delta Solutions & Strategies is seeking a Senior Aerospace Engineer to support SSC Space Sensing activities at Buckley Space Force Base, Colorado. You will provide systems engineering, mission integration, space vehicle, payload, ground system, test, launch, and mission-readiness support across the lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will lead complex technical efforts, integrate inputs from multiple stakeholders, and deliver actionable recommendations to Government leads.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in aerospace systems engineering and space mission integration.
• Ability to produce technical assessments, briefs, and reports for Government leads.
• Experience coordinating across government and contractor teams on complex programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex technical or analytical tasks and integrate inputs from stakeholders.
• Review work products and mentor junior team members as appropriate.
• Apply systems engineering methods across lifecycle stages: concept to sustainment.
• Review requirements, SPs, IMS, interface docs, test documentation for completeness.
• Track technical performance, risks, interfaces, schedule, and readiness.
• Support spacecraft, payload, launch vehicle, ground system, and mission-partner integration.
• Participate in technical interchange meetings, design reviews, and readiness reviews.
• Conduct trade studies, mission planning analyses, and technical assessments.
• Support configuration management, mission assurance, and launch readiness activities.
• Develop reports, briefings, white papers, and action-item tracking for Government review.
