Job summary

Delta Solutions & Strategies is seeking a Senior Aerospace Engineer to support United States Space Force Space Systems Command (SSC), Space Sensing activities at Peterson Space Force Base, Colorado.

This role leads complex technical and analytical efforts across the acquisition life cycle, coordinating inputs from Government and contractor teams to drive mission readiness and high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Senior-level aerospace engineering experience.
• Experience in space systems engineering, mission integration, and requirements analysis.
• Ability to coordinate across Government and contractor teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex technical or analytical tasks across stakeholders.
• Review work products and mentor less-experienced staff.
• Apply systems engineering methods across life cycle phases: concept to sustainment.
• Review requirements, plans, interfaces, and test documentation for completeness.
• Track technical performance, risks, and mission readiness; flag issues to Government.
• Support spacecraft, payload, launch vehicle, ground system, and mission-partner integration.
• Participate in design reviews, readiness reviews, and technical interchange meetings.
• Conduct or support trade studies and mission planning analyses.
• Contribute to technical assessments, reports, and briefing products for Government review.
