Delta Solutions & Strategies is seeking a Senior Aerospace Engineer to support United States Space Force Space Systems Command in Boulder, Colorado. The role covers systems engineering, mission integration, space vehicle, payload, ground system, test, launch, and mission-readiness activities across the acquisition life cycle.

The ideal candidate will lead complex technical efforts, coordinate inputs across government and contractor teams, and deliver actionable recommendations to government

Qualifications

• Senior-level aerospace or space systems experience with systems engineering depth.
• Ability to coordinate across government and contractor teams.
• Experience reviewing complex technical documentation and producing clear recommendations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for briefings and reports.
• Ability to assess risks and inform Government stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex technical tasks, integrate inputs from multiple stakeholders, and provide actionable recommendations.
• Review work products, resolve issues, and mentor junior staff as appropriate.
• Apply systems engineering methods across lifecycle stages from concept to sustainment.
• Review requirements, plans, schedules, and test documentation for completeness.
• Track performance, interfaces, schedule, risk, and readiness for government attention.
• Support spacecraft, payload, launch vehicle, ground system, and mission-partner integration.
• Participate in design reviews, readiness reviews, and program reviews.
• Conduct trade studies and mission planning analyses to inform decisions.
• Support configuration management, mission assurance, and launch readiness activities.
• Develop assessments, reports, briefings, and action-tracking for government review.
