Job summary

Delta Solutions & Strategies is seeking a Senior Electronics Engineer to support United States Space Force SSC Space Sensing activities in Boulder, Colorado. The role provides electronic systems, sensor and payload integration, ground-system interfaces, testing, readiness, and sustainment to advance Space Sensing missions.

You will lead complex technical efforts, coordinate across Government and contractor teams, review specifications and test plans, and mentor less-experienced staff.

Qualifications

• Professional electronics engineering experience at senior level.
• Experience with space sensors, payloads, and ground systems.
• Ability to review electronic system requirements and test products.
• Strong writing, briefing and collaboration skills.
• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility or higher.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex technical or analytical tasks and integrate inputs across stakeholders.
• Review work products, resolve issues, and mentor less-experienced team members.
• Assess electronic, payload, communications, and related designs for mission success.
• Support integration of subsystems across spacecraft, payloads, and ground systems.
• Review specifications, interface documents, engineering data, test plans and procedures.
• Monitor development, integration, and test activities for readiness concerns.
• Analyze discrepancies and propose actions for Government consideration.
• Participate in technical interchange meetings, design reviews, and mission reviews.
• Coordinate inputs across Government, FFRDC, and contractors.
• Prepare assessments, briefings, and engineering products for review.
