Delta Solutions & Strategies seeks an SME Electronics Engineer to support SSC Space Sensing activities in Boulder, CO. You will serve as a subject-matter authority, shape technical approaches, and advise government leadership on complex issues, coordinating with multiple teams across space systems and ground interfaces.

The role requires deep DoD/national security space experience, with proven ability to influence technical direction, brief senior stakeholders, and manage high-visibility

Qualifications

• Professional experience and technical depth commensurate with a SME-level role.
• Experience reviewing electronic system requirements, interfaces, engineering documentation, and test products.
• Ability to analyze complex technical issues and clearly communicate findings and recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject-matter authority for the assigned functional area and advise leadership on high-complexity issues.
• Shape technical approaches, strategies, processes, and decision products and lead complex reviews or analyses.
• Represent the functional area in senior-level forums and cross-organizational coordination.
• Assess electronic, payload, communications, and related system designs for compliance with requirements.
• Support integration of electronic subsystems across spacecraft, payloads, ground systems, and mission interfaces.
• Review technical specifications, interface documents, engineering data, test plans and procedures.
