Job summary

The Boeing Company is seeking a Space Systems Engineer (Experienced/Senior) to join ESG in Seal Beach, CA; Aurora, CO; or El Segundo, CA. The role focuses on integration and test of complex space systems for government customers, working with a multidisciplinary team to deliver capabilities rapidly and affordably.

Applicants must hold an active Top Secret/SCI clearance and have 3+ years (level 3) or 5+ years (level 4) of relevant experience, plus a BS in engineering or related fields.

Qualifications

• Active U.S. Top Secret/SCI clearance or an equivalent active clearance.
• 3+ years of related experience for level 3; 5+ for level 4.
• Experience in systems engineering and verification & validation of complex systems.
• Experience with space systems integration and test.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% domestically.
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform end-to-end space system test programs for spacecraft and ground/external interfaces.
• Develop test requirements, configurations, procedures, and scripts.
• Support software integration, test, and debugging across system elements.
• Perform hardware/software integration and lab testing using EDUs, emulators, and simulations.
• Assist with spacecraft flight hardware testing, data collection, and analysis.
• Design and operate special test equipment (STE).
• Investigate and troubleshoot issues identified during testing or operation.
• Support verification, validation, sell-off, and launch readiness activities.
