Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) seeks a Space Systems Engineer with expertise in integration and test to join the Experimental Systems Group (ESG) and work onsite in Seal Beach, CA; Aurora, CO; or El Segundo, CA.

ESG supports government customers with a fast-paced development environment, delivering capabilities rapidly and affordably. The role involves coordinating across multifunctional teams and advancing spacecraft testing and verification activities.

Qualifications

• Active U.S. Top Secret/SCI clearance.
• Level 2: 1+ years in related field; Level 3: 3+ years in related field.
• Experience in systems integration and test.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% domestically.
• Bachelor of Science in engineering or related field (US or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform end-to-end space system test programs (spacecraft, ground systems, external interfaces).
• Develop test requirements, configurations, procedures, and scripts.
• Support software integration, test, and debugging across system elements.
• Perform hardware/software integration and lab testing with EDUs, emulators, and simulations.
• Assist with spacecraft flight hardware testing and data collection, review, and analysis.
• Design and operate Special Test Equipment (STE).
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve issues during testing or operation.
• Support system verification, validation, sell-off, and launch readiness activities.
• Contribute to process improvements with current and emerging tools/methods.
• Develop plans, communicate status, and coordinate across multifunctional teams.
• Prepare and present review materials for leadership.
• Collaborate with SME across disciplines with test engineers, software developers, ESD designers, and test directors.
