Job summary

The Boeing Company is seeking a Space Systems Engineer (Associate or Experienced) to join our SEIT Mission Design team in Seal Beach, CA; Aurora, CO; or El Segundo, CA. You will work with system architects and ConOps developers to craft operational concepts for space missions and lead complex trade studies with stakeholders.

Ideal candidates have active Top Secret/SCI clearance, space systems experience, and a background in MBSE.

Qualifications

• Active U.S. Top Secret/SCI clearance or active clearance within past 24 months.
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or equivalent.
• 1+ years for level 2; 3+ years for level 3 in related space systems engineering.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to drive development and implementation of an operational concept for a space mission.
• Be the point of contact for customers and work with subject matter experts to identify achievable solutions.
• Support technology integration for first-of-kind space vehicles and missions.
• Develop and present review packages to senior leadership.
