Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM with 8+ years, or Master's with 6+ years, or PhD with 4+ years.
• Active SCI clearance is required at application and maintained during employment.
• Experience with external interfaces and interface documentation (ICDs, IRDs, specs).
• Space systems program experience and familiarity with industry standards.
• Experience collaborating with customers/partners on interface definition.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical definition and control of external interfaces for subsystems and segments.
• Develop and baseline ICDs, IRDs, and related documents with configuration control.
• Decompose system requirements into interface requirements and allocate them.
• Lead interface design reviews, ICs/technical interchange meetings with stakeholders.
• Maintain Interfaces in DOORS and drive documentation for Digital Transformation.
• Coordinate interfaces across mechanical, electrical, data, RF, and software.
• Support integration and test planning for interface verification.
• Investigate and resolve interface issues during integration and testing.
• Ensure alignment of design/docs with evolving requirements and customer constraints.
• Provide clear technical communication to leadership, customers, and cross-functional teams.
