Job summary

KBR’s National Security Solutions team in the United States is seeking a senior systems engineer to provide technical oversight of SDA Tranche 3 ground segment development, testing, integration, and operations. The role demands deep expertise in satellite-ground interactions and a track record in systems engineering.

The position requires collaboration with Government, Military, SETA, FFRDC and Industry stakeholders, and ensures readiness for complex space defense programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 15+ years experience with satellite and/or ground systems.
• Technical and analytic understanding of satellite-ground system interaction.
• Experience in systems engineering.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments with excellent oral and written communication skills.
• TS Clearance with SCI Eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical oversight and leadership to SDA Tranche 3 ground segment development, testing, integration, and operations.
• Coordinate the development of satellite system requirements and related enterprise, system, functional, performance, and interface requirements.
• Assess and resolve highly complex problems across project dimensions.
• Oversee integration and test of satellites into the SDA ground system network and with other satellite vendors.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
