Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related STEM field from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 9+ years of progressive aerospace experience with leadership in business development, strategic capture, or program shaping in national security space markets.
• Substantive knowledge of payload architectures or advanced electrical subsystems with the ability to lead high-level technical discussions with agency stakeholders.
• Active, verifiable TS/SCI clearance with a background screening suitable for immediate access to national reconnaissance program environments.

Responsibilities

• Strategy & Capture Leadership: Lead the identification, qualification, and capture of high-value space and payload programs, directly positioning the business unit to win major next-generation constellation contracts.
• Customer Relationship Management: Serve as the primary business development interface to elite national intelligence community space acquisition directorates, aligning internal roadmaps with their requirements.
• Technical Value Proposition: Leverage a deep engineering baseline to cultivate technical relationships with customer science and technology leads, shaping early requirements for advanced payload concepts.
• Pipeline & Proposal Management: Oversee the allocation and execution of budgets to maximize capture win probabilities; lead large-scale proposal teams through reviews.
