Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Sector is seeking a Program Planning Manager – Level 3 to lead scheduling processes and EVMS reporting for multiple space programs. The role is onsite in Dulles, VA, with travel up to 25% and requires an active Top Secret/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities include coordinating automated scheduling tools, developing kickoff packages, and guiding teams toward strong program baselines, risk assessments, and health metrics. A leadership background is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of relevant professional experience or master’s degree with 8+ years required.
• Will consider 4+ years of additional experience in lieu of degree.
• Active U.S. Government Top Secret clearance and/or SCI required.
• Experience in a lead or supervisory role.
• Proficient in developing and maintaining a program schedule in scheduling tools.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate EVMS scheduling processes, tools and training for programs.
• Ensure internal/external best practice program planning and scheduling support.
• Develop high-quality baseline review artifacts and schedule health metrics.
• Provide startup support and kickoff package development.
• Coordinate automation of scheduling tools and IMS reporting.
