Job summary

Northrop Grumman’s Space Sector seeks a Sr. Staff Engineering Program Manager (EPM) Level 6 to join in Dulles, VA or McLean, VA. This 100% onsite role oversees engineering execution, budgets, EVMS, and performance deliverables across spacecraft programs.

You will guide multidisciplinary IPTs, manage risks, and deliver milestones with senior engineers and PMO coordination. Requires TS/SCI or TS with SAP preferred plus extensive leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 14+ years of experience or Master’s with 12+ years or PhD with 10+ years.
• Active U.S. Government Top-Secret clearance required at time of application
• Experience in at least one spacecraft product development program
• 4+ years leading multidisciplinary teams achieving targets
• 8+ years of technical engineering development and integration
• Experience in full lifecycle development and budgets
• Proven success in EAC management, proposals, IMS, subcontract/supplier management

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering execution across multiple disciplines through all program phases
• Oversee budgets, EVMS, EACs, risks, and resource demands
• Provide progress briefings to internal and external stakeholders
• Coordinate with Chief Engineers, IPT leads, PMO, and Supply Chain
• Ensure delivery of commitments within scope and schedule
