Job summary

Sodern America, Inc. is seeking a Senior Products and Sales Engineer in Englewood, CO to bridge the sales and engineering teams with deep expertise in star trackers and spacecraft attitude systems.

You will lead pre-sales activities, perform feasibility studies and simulations, support proposals, and provide post-sales technical support and customer training. This is a founding-team role to build SAM's U.S. presence and customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in GNC, Electrical, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering (or related field).
• 5+ years in technical support, application engineering, or customer-facing roles in a high-tech environment (aerospace/defense preferred).
• Strong understanding of spacecraft attitude control, star trackers, and optical sensors.
• Proficiency with modeling/simulation tools (MATLAB/Simulink, Python).
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer-service skills.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Sales: deliver technical presentations and demonstrations of star tracker products.
• Pre-Sales: conduct feasibility studies, performance simulations, and system analyses.
• Pre-Sales: support proposals with technical input and documentation.
• Post-Sales: provide on-site or remote technical support for integration and validation.
