Job summary

Blue Origin LLC in the Greater Seattle Area is seeking a Senior Power Electronics Design Engineer to drive end-to-end development for space-rated avionics hardware. You will lead a cross-disciplinary team through the full design cycle from concept to qualification and flight support, including power integrity and PCB layouts for space environments.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or related field with 10+ years of experience in ruggedized/high-reliability electronics.
• 8+ years designing, testing, and debugging switching DCDC power supplies with component selection, schematic capture, and layout.
• Experience with space-rated components and radiation environments.
• Ability to work independently on rapid development programs.
• Experience with FPGA, CMOS sensors, and DDR memory in digital designs.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end product development for space-rated components.
• Lead cross-disciplinary teams in a fast-paced design environment.
• Define requirements and design architecture with customers and stakeholders.
• Conduct tests, data reviews, and flight hardware validation.
• Mentor junior engineers and manage design configurations through lifecycle.
