Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center seeks a senior leader to manage complex space planning, facilities renovations, and capital initiatives supporting education and research missions within Academic Affairs.

You will oversee projects from planning through occupancy, coordinating with Institutional stakeholders to ensure alignment with priorities, policies, and standards. This role serves as a liaison across departments and leads strategic planning for space utilization and infrastructure growth.

Qualifications

• 5 years of project management/construction experience required with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering, and Construction Management.
• Experience with academic healthcare and/or research facilities is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead space planning and facilities initiatives within Academic Affairs.
• Oversee renovation, infrastructure, occupancy, and capital projects with scope, schedule, budgets, and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with Academic Affairs leadership, departments, Research Operations, and Facilities Management to assess current and future space needs.
