UT Southwestern Medical Center seeks a senior leader to manage complex space planning, facilities renovations, and capital initiatives supporting education and research missions within Academic Affairs.

Works under limited direction to provide senior‑level leadership and project management expertise for complex space planning, facilities, renovation, and capital initiatives supporting the education and research missions within Academic Affairs.
Leads institutional space planning and facilities initiatives with Academic Affairs leadership, Facilities Management, and other institutional stakeholders. Oversees projects from planning and programming through construction, occupancy, and operational transition while ensuring alignment with institutional priorities, strategic growth initiatives, operational needs, and applicable policies and standards.
Serves as an advisor and liaison on academic and research space utilization, infrastructure planning, and renovation initiatives across multiple departments and stakeholders.

Bachelor's Degree
5 years of project management/construction experience required with a Bachelors degree or Equivalent industry related experience and knowledge without a degree.
Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering, and Construction Management
Design and Construction experience with academic healthcare and/or research facilities and/or project management/construction management experience with a focus in healthcare, academic, and/or research facilities.
Salary is commensurate with education, skills, and relevant experience.
This position is security‑sensitive and subject to Texas Education Code 51.215, which authorizes UT Southwestern to obtain criminal history record information.
