NAPA Auto Parts seeks a Space Analyst to design and implement planograms and floor plans that optimize space and drive sales. The role blends analytics with hands-on lab work to build and test planograms using JDA and AutoCAD.

Ideal candidates combine retail space planning experience with data visualization skills and strong collaborative abilities to support merchandising decisions. Hybrid work is available, with two days from home most weeks.

Qualifications

• 5 years of retail experience creating or designing planograms.
• 4-year degree from an accredited university.
• 2+ years’ experience with space planning products such as JDA.
• Experience in high-volume retail or consumer goods environment.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD software.
• Working knowledge of SQL and database relationships.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (LOOKUPS, IF, Pivot Tables).
• Experience with data visualization tools (Qlik, Tableau, Power BI).
• Ability to translate financial, operational and customer tradeoffs into planogram decisions.

Responsibilities

• Assigns planogram updates to other Space Analysts based on workflow.
• Peer reviews all completed planograms prior to Manager review.
• Pulls and organizes planograms data (sales, GMROI) for stakeholders.
• Train Space Analysts in best practices and JDA usage.
• Maintain Planogram calendar and POG status Kanban board.
• Manage Retail Merchandising site with IT for improvements.
• Build and maintain floor plans with JDA and AutoCAD.
• Develop floor plan layouts based on top-performing planograms.
• Deliver floorplans for projects within the reset schedule.
• Create planogram orders for stores and ensure data is transmitted to POS.
• Respond to field requests for changes using financial data.
• Provide planogram analytics to key stakeholders.
• Arrange aesthetically pleasing planograms based on customer decision trees.
• Derive performance data to optimize space use and advise product team.
• Adhere to safety laws and internal guidelines on planograms.
