Job summary

Petsense is seeking a detail-oriented Space Planner for a contract role in Brentwood, TN, with a hybrid in-office schedule (2-3 days/week). You will create and optimize planograms, manage master data, and support analytics for inventory and merchandising strategies.

The role requires 3+ years in space planning, proficiency with space management systems, and collaboration across merchandising, marketing, and store operations to ensure brand standards and optimal shelf presentation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of space planning or planograms experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to learn new technology quickly.
• Experience with space management systems such as JDA/Intactix/Blue Yonder.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage all planograms (inline, promotional, and display) using space management systems to meet company and Petsense standards.
• Develop clustered merchandise planograms based on assortments and store clustering.
• Maintain and update master data within planograms including SKU and replenishment codes.
• Manage visual and space aspects of merchandising programs across multiple systems (SAP/IKB).
• Support the line review process to keep participants updated for execution of planograms and SDI information.
• Develop planograms that are visually appealing and easy to shop for stores to set and maintain.
• Analyze store and planogram performance to optimize assortments and space allocation.
• Provide analytics and reporting to support inventory management including minimums, maximums, and depth.
