Galapagos Federal Systems, LLC is seeking an Operations Research Analyst to join a mission-focused team supporting National Security Space capabilities.

The role involves planning TacRS missions, integrating spacecraft and ground systems, and coordinating with government customers to ensure rapid execution. Requires TS/SCI with SAP access and 10+ years in space programs, with strong mission planning experience.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with SAP access is required.
• 10+ years supporting large-scale space programs in acquisition, systems engineering, or space operations.
• 3+ years in space operations or operational mission planning.
• 8+ years working with National Security Space systems including spacecraft, ground systems and launch operations.

Responsabilités

• Plan and execute TacRS missions including spacecraft integration, ground systems, launch operations, logistics and on-orbit execution.
• Conduct mission analysis, planning, CONOPS development and readiness exercises for responsive space operations.
• Coordinate daily with government customers, mission partners and industry stakeholders to ensure alignment and rapid execution.
• Manage the Rendezvous and Proximity Operations technical baseline, leading integration across spacecraft buses, payloads, ground systems, software and mission systems.
• Maintain technical risk registers and develop mitigation strategies across mission and system elements.
• Perform technical assessments of space, ground and operational architectures to support planning and integration.
• Define system performance data requirements and contribute to development of C2 and mission planning software.
• Develop acquisition requirements and documentation supporting rapid procurement pathways (SBIR, OTA).
• Support source selections, evaluate technical proposals, and ensure alignment with mission requirements.
• Assist with financial and program documentation (Form 9, MIPR) and track cost, schedule and performance metrics.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors and vendors to ensure execution and adherence to timelines.
• Support technical and contractual negotiations related to scope, pricing and program requirements.
• Apply operational frameworks and doctrine including Joint Warfighting Concepts, CCMD processes, DIME, OODA Loop and JPP.
