Job summary

Trillium Professional is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer in Camarillo, CA for a direct-hire placement. The role covers owning the complete lifecycle of space hardware from concept to production and unit delivery for satellite payloads.

Responsibilities include mechanical analyses (vibration, thermal, radiation), rapid prototyping, and close collaboration with RF engineers to meet on‑orbit requirements. A BS in Mechanical/Aerospace engineering and CAD/FEA skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering from an accredited university or institution.
• 3–5 years of industry experience with mechanical or electromechanical design, analysis, and/or manufacturing.
• Experience with CAD and FEA software packages, preferably SolidWorks.
• Solid knowledge of GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Own the complete lifecycle of space hardware from initial electrical/RF design concept to production & unit delivery.
• Perform mechanical analyses (vibration, thermal, radiation) on new product designs to ensure survival to launch and on‑orbit environments.
• Rapidly prototype & iterate on designs.
