Job summary

CesiumAstro is seeking a Senior Capture Manager to lead its capture and proposal efforts for government and commercial opportunities. This role reports to the Director of Business Capture and collaborates with Contracts, Program Management, Engineering, and Finance to drive win strategies.

The ideal candidate has 12+ years in aerospace or satellite systems, deep knowledge of government procurement (FAR/CAS), and a record of successful bids.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Aerospace Engineering from an accredited university.
• MBA or MS advanced degree desired.
• Proven track record in managing new business opportunities in airborne and space-based systems.
• Experience with CAS, FAR, and government procurement regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead capture and proposal efforts for government and commercial opportunities.
• Organize proposal teams to produce on-time, complete and compliant proposals.
• Manage pricing reviews and Basis of Estimating (BOE) for bids.
• Maintain relationships with customers and partners to drive opportunities.
• Collaborate with program management, contracts, engineering, and finance during negotiations.
• Develop win strategies and ensure consistency across final documents.
