Job summary

CesiumAstro, a leader in satellite communication systems, seeks a Senior Capture Manager to drive government and commercial opportunities. You will manage ROMs, NTEs, and firm proposals, coordinating with Contracts, Program Management, Engineering, and more to secure win strategies.

You will build relationships with government agencies and customers, conduct market analysis, and lead teams to deliver timely, compliant proposals while guiding negotiations and pricing activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Aerospace Engineering required; 12+ years of relevant experience.
• Proven track record managing opportunities in airborne/space-based comms systems.
• Knowledge of space-based communication systems, phased arrays, and processing electronics.
• Experience with proposal pricing methodologies and Basis of Estimating (BOE).
• Understanding of proposal and gate review processes; ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead capture and proposal efforts for government and commercial opportunities.
• Build and maintain relationships with government agencies and customers.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify growth areas.
• Organize and lead proposal teams to produce compliant proposals.
• Ensure win strategy and discriminators are clear and consistent in final documents.
• Collaborate with leadership during negotiations and BOE development.
• Support standard pricing development and bid decision processes.
• Guide program hand-offs from capture to production with baselined requirements.
