E-Space, based in Saratoga, California, is seeking a Senior Guidance, Navigation, and Controls (GNC) Engineer. You will design, tune, and test satellite attitude estimation and control algorithms, while developing high-fidelity 6‑DOF GNC simulations and models.

The role involves running rigorous model‑based validation, Monte Carlo campaigns, and assisting integration into real‑time flight software with hardware‑in‑the‑loop testing.

Qualifications

• Experience designing advanced control algorithms for aerospace or safety‑critical systems.
• Strong background in estimation, Kalman filters, and sensor fusion.
• Hands‑on experience with model‑based validation and HIL testing.

Responsibilities

• Design, tune, and test satellite attitude estimation and control algorithms.
• Develop high‑fidelity 6‑DOF GNC simulation tools and models.
• Run model/software‑in‑the‑loop and Monte Carlo campaigns; analyze results.
• Assist integration into real‑time flight software and support HIL testing.
• Document technical work and participate in engineering reviews.
