Job summary

Blue Origin seeks a Construction Project Manager to lead complex facility construction initiatives within the Center of Excellence. You will plan, execute, and close projects while maintaining budgets, schedules, and quality, coordinating with multiple teams and stakeholders to deliver safe, compliant facilities.

The role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with hands‑on experience in hazardous or critical operations and a passion for spaceflight.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering, Construction Management, or Project Management is preferred.
• 8+ years of experience with complex facility construction and renovations.
• Experience leading small- to medium-sized teams and coordinating subsystems.
• Strong personnel management and mentoring skills.
• Experience with sub-contract management, RFPs, and statements of work.
• Proven project leadership with knowledge of manufacturing operations and launch site environments.
• Proficient in Milestones, MS Project and MS Office.
• Strong budgeting, scheduling, and safety-minded leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide field oversight and create customized project schedules.
• Negotiate contracts with general contractors and subs—contracts and invoices oversight.
• Develop and manage project documentation and compliance with regulations.
• Lead regular status meetings and manage scope changes with stakeholders.
• Ensure projects progress according to the pre-determined schedule.
• Develop progress reports, proposals, and required documentation.
• Coordinate cross-team collaboration to address risks and contingencies.
• Represent the company in project and client meetings and close projects.
