Ideal candidates have 10+ years in software planning, strong leadership of large teams, and a track record delivering embedded solutions for aerospace or space domain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience planning software development efforts, requirements analysis, architecture, and resource planning.
• Experience leading software engineering projects of 10+ engineers.
• Experience delivering embedded software to operational systems.
• Solid understanding of agile methodologies and frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Define software requirements, concepts of operations, and architectures as part of a system engineering team.
• Apply systems/software engineering to craft, develop, and test spacecraft software.
• Plan and direct test campaigns to verify operating software against requirements.
• Mentor other staff and engage with spacecraft engineers and working groups.
