Job summary

Voyager Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer in San Diego to design cutting-edge PCBAs for space and national security applications. You will derive requirements, create schematics, guide layouts, and support testing and production ramp.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in high-speed PCB design, strong signal integrity and power skills, FPGA/PLD experience, and the ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years designing high-speed PCBs with SI and power considerations.
• Experience with FPGA/PLD, Ethernet PHYs, high-speed memory, PLLs, regulators.

Responsibilities

• Derive and document PCB requirements from system-level specs.
• Create schematics and specs for complex high-speed PCBAs.
• Layout or guide PCBA layout for complex boards.
• Support manufacturing of PCBAs when needed.
• Develop test plans to verify performance against specs.
• Troubleshoot and validate board designs; meet deadlines.
• Support design reviews and proposals for feasibility.
