Job summary

Voyager Technologies seeks an Electrical Engineer in California to design, develop, integrate, and test electrical hardware for ISR, defense, and space missions. You’ll translate requirements into schematics, PCB layouts, and power distribution, while performing analyses on signal integrity, grounding, and EMI/EMC.

Collaboration with systems, software, mechanical, RF, and mission engineering teams is essential, with opportunities for growth and security clearance consideration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s in a related field with 2–8 years of experience; relevant in defense/aerospace preferred.
• Experience designing electrical/electronic hardware for mission-critical systems.
• Familiarity with schematic capture, PCB layout, and hardware integration.
• Proficiency with bench test equipment and lab measurements.
• Ability to obtain/maintain a U.S. Security Clearance if required.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, integrate, and test electrical hardware for ISR, defense, and space missions.
• Translate requirements into schematics, PCB layouts, and power distribution solutions.
• Perform analyses on power, signal integrity, grounding, and EMI/EMC considerations.
• Create and maintain electrical drawings, BOMs, and test procedures.
• Support hardware bring-up, testing, troubleshooting, and environment qualification.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate hardware into complex systems.
• Participate in design reviews and configuration management; document decisions clearly.
• Follow reliability, EMC, and manufacturability best practices throughout development.
