Job summary

Voyager Technologies is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer – Power Systems Design for the Technology and Advanced Development department in Long Beach, CA. You will lead high-reliability PCB design, provide technical direction, and ensure architectures meet mission requirements.

Responsibilities include circuit derivation, schematic creation, layout guidance, testing, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. On-site or hybrid in Long Beach; government clearance eligible is required.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science; 7+ years of experience in high-speed PCB design.

Responsibilities

• Derive and document circuit board requirements from system-level specs.
• Create schematics for high-speed PCBAs.
• Layout and guide PCB design; assist with manufacturing when needed.
• Ensure electrical architectures meet performance and safety standards.
• Support system integration, testing, and gate reviews.
• Participate in proposals and supplier evaluations.
