Job summary
The Aerospace Corporation seeks a Space Systems Cybersecurity and Assessments Engineer to design, implement, assess, and deploy cyber solutions defending critical space assets. As a Senior Member of the Technical Staff, you will lead vulnerability assessments, cyber architecture, and prototype development for DoD/IC space system customers in a challenging, collaborative environment.
This full-time onsite role in Chantilly, VA requires TS/SCI clearance, U.S.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in a STEM field or cyber-related discipline.
- 5+ years of professional cyber security experience with demonstrated contributions to assessments/prototypes.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages.
Responsibilities
- Conduct cyber security research and assessments including vulnerability testing.
- Advise DoD/IC space system customers on secure design and implementation.
- Review and analyze network architectures for security and performance.
- Support cybersecurity projects, prototype development, and mitigations.
- Apply technical expertise across TCP/IP, IPsec, HTTP/S, and routing protocols.
