Job summary

Hard Rock Casino Rockford is seeking an experienced kitchen leader to oversee food preparation across shifts, ensuring quality and guest satisfaction. This role coordinates with front-of-house teams to meet food service goals and budget targets.

You will hire, train, and supervise staff, maintain training procedures, and monitor inventory and costs to uphold food quality and safety standards, including HAACP compliance.

Qualifications

• 8 years progressive preparation experience or through the completion of a culinary arts degree or accredited apprenticeship.
• 4 years of progressive food preparation experience.
• At least 1 year in a supervisory capacity.

Responsibilities

• Oversee food preparation on all shifts for an assigned food outlet to ensure quality food and guest satisfaction.
• Coordinate with front‑of‑the‑house staff to ensure effective coordination of service to achieve food service goals.
• Hire, train, motivate, evaluate, and supervise staff to ensure team members receive guidance to accomplish objectives.
• Monitor food purchasing, staffing, preparation and inventory to control costs and waste within the budget.
