Compass Group USA is seeking a Senior Sous Chef to assist in operating the Culinary Department for a facility, supervise hourly staff, and collaborate with the Executive Chef on menus and ordering. This role offers an energetic, entrepreneurial culinary professional a path to leadership.

The candidate will help manage cost controls, plan menus, and execute catering events, while rolling out new culinary programs with the team.

Qualifications

• A.O.S. Degree in Culinary Arts or culinary certificate.
• Some progressive culinary/kitchen management experience is preferred.
• Experience in high volume, complex foodservice operations is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Executive Chef in cost controls and expenditure management.
• Assist in planning and creating menus.
• Produce and execute catering events.
• Roll out new culinary programs with marketing and culinary teams.
