Compass Group USA is seeking a Sous Chef to oversee the Culinary Department, assisting in menu development, ordering, and managing daily kitchen operations. You will work with the Executive Chef and supervise hourly staff to ensure quality and efficiency.

This role supports catering events and implements new culinary programs in coordination with marketing and culinary teams, in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• A.S. or equivalent experience required.
• Progressive culinary/kitchen management experience preferred.
• High volume, complex foodservice operations experience desirable.
• Knowledge of food cost controls, sanitation, and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising the Culinary Department operations.
• Develop menus with Executive Chef and assist with ordering.
• Produce and execute catering events.
• Roll out new culinary programs with marketing and culinary team.
