Crowne Plaza Kansas City Downtown is seeking a seasoned Sous Chef to lead the hotel kitchen team and ensure exceptional food quality and service. You will manage procurement, production, and presentation of all hotel food in a safe, sanitary environment while aligning with brand standards and budgets.

The role requires strong leadership, menu development, cost control, and a passion for hospitality excellence in a premier downtown property.

Qualifications

• High School diploma / Secondary qualification or equivalent.
• Experience with Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Wyndham or Hyatt processes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage kitchen operations, procurement, production and presentation of all food.
• Manage budget, food and labor costs within approved budgets.
• Recruit, train, develop and coach kitchen staff.
• Ensure sanitation and safety standards across kitchen areas.
• Develop and implement menus within corporate guidelines.
• Coordinate with catering and departments for events.
• Monitor inventory and store food properly.
