Forbici Modern Italian in St. Pete is seeking a dynamic Sous Chef to join our team at the new Sundial location, opening early 2026.

Under the direction of the Executive Chef, the Sous Chef will maintain the highest quality and standards, oversee production, safety and sanitation, and lead the kitchen team in a fast-paced, upscale environment. We value hospitality-driven leadership, strong communication, reliability, and a commitment to fresh, house-made ingredients and exceptional guest

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as Sous Chef in a high-volume setting.
• Ability to demonstrate leadership in complex employee relations.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English.
• Must be able to obtain manager food safety certifications.
• Culinary degree preferred.

Responsabilités

• Under the direction of the Executive Chef, the Sous Chef is responsible for maintaining the highest quality and standards in daily kitchen operations.
• The Sous Chef oversees production, operation, safety and sanitation within the kitchen.
