Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager for a remote role open to qualified US applicants. You will lead category management, supplier engagement, and RFx initiatives across cross-functional teams, delivering cost savings and performance targets.

Requirements include 10+ years in procurement, a BA/BS in a related field, experience with eSourcing tools (Coupa, SAP Ariba, Ivalua), and strong negotiation skills. Master’s degree and Tableau experience are pluses.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Procurement/Sourcing, incl. 6+ years in software/technology services.
• BA/BS in Business Admin or Supply Chain or equivalent.
• Experience with eSourcing and spend analytics tools (Coupa, SAP Ariba, Ivalua, or similar).
• AI-powered procurement tools familiarity is a plus.
• Strong negotiation and contract management experience.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop category management plans and sourcing strategies to achieve cost savings and performance targets.
• Lead cross-functional teams to define requirements and execute supplier initiatives.
• Create analytical reports on savings, metrics, and KPIs.
• Provide visibility into supplier spend and performance.
• Support RFx processes and lead project teams.
• Collaborate with Legal, InfoSec, and Third-Party Governance to manage source-to-pay discussions.
