Job summary

Mouser Electronics in Mansfield, Texas seeks an experienced Sourcing and Contracts leader to optimize purchasing across hardware, software, SaaS, and services. You will lead RFPs, ensure policy alignment, and drive cost savings while mentoring a team.

The role requires 6+ years in procurement or contract management, strong negotiation, analytics, and cross‑functional collaboration. Internal Mouser candidates with 1 year of high performance or external candidates with 2+ years relevant leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or contract management, with direct responsibility for running sourcing events and negotiating contracts.
• Experience in procurement and contracting for software and subscription services.
• Demonstrated experience managing multiple categories or projects and delivering measurable cost savings and value.

Responsibilities

• Lead cost-effective purchasing across Mouser locations, including hardware, software, SaaS, and services.
• Lead RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs; ensure competitive analysis, bidding, and transparent evaluation.
• Partner with Legal, Compliance, and Infosec on contractual risk and compliance; enforce procurement policies.
