About The Role

Solutions Engineers at Confluent are vital in both early-stage evaluation and ongoing value realization for customers. They partner with Account Executives to serve as technical advisors, understanding customer needs and designing solutions. They facilitate discussions, inspire confidence in adopting new patterns, and resolve technical challenges, fostering customer success and promoting adoption of Confluent’s technologies.

What You Will Do

• Advance new & innovative Data Streaming use-cases from conception to Go-Live
• Lead Technical Proofs of Concept
• Conduct Discovery & Whiteboard Sessions to develop new use-cases
• Deliver Technical Talks and Workshops for Thought Leadership
• Help customers operationalize their Confluent deployments with best practices
• Analyze customer trends to identify optimization opportunities
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams, advocating for customers
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders

What You Will Bring

• 5+ years of Solutions Engineering or similar experience
• Experience with Event-Driven architecture, Data Integration & Processing, Database & Data Warehouse technologies
• Hands-on experience with Cloud Architecture, Migrations, Deployment, and Application Development
• Knowledge of Automation, GitOps, and Kubernetes
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or SQL
• Technical certifications such as Cloud Developer/Architect, Data Engineering & Integration
• Self-starter attitude, eagerness to learn and solve complex problems
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, capable of engaging diverse audiences including executives
