About the Role:

Solutions Engineers at Confluent drive early-stage evaluation within the sales process and enable ongoing value realization for customers. They partner with Account Executives to serve as the key technical advisor, surfacing customer needs and designing solutions to meet these needs. They facilitate discussions, storytelling, and creative solutioning to overcome technical roadblocks, fostering customer success and adoption of Confluent’s technologies.

What You Will Do:

• Help advance new & innovative Data Streaming use-cases from conception to Go-Live
• Lead Technical Proofs of Concept
• Conduct Discovery & Whiteboard Sessions
• Deliver Technical Talks and Workshops
• Guide customers with best practices to operationalize their Confluent Deployment
• Analyze Customer Trends and identify Optimization opportunities
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams, and advocate for the product
• Build strong relationships with customer stakeholders

What You Will Bring:

• 5+ years of Solutions Engineering or similar experience
• Experience with Event-Driven architecture, Data Integration & Processing, Database & Data Warehouse technologies
• Exposure to Cloud Architecture, Migrations, Deployment & Application Development
• Experience with Automation, GitOps, Kubernetes
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or SQL
• Technical certifications in Cloud, Data Engineering & Integration
• Self-starter, eager to learn and solve hard problems
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, capable of engaging audiences from developers to C-level executives
