Job summary

Supermicro is seeking a Sr. Solutions Manager to join our server team. This role will drive revenue and customer retention by acting as a field SME on Supermicro products and how single socket servers can enhance client outcomes.

You will work across engineering, marketing, and partners to create leveraged, outcome-based solutions, including RFI/RFP responses, and market insights for product development.

Qualifications

• BS in EE/CS with 8+ years relevant work experience in the server industry is preferable.
• Strong understanding of server market trends and customer needs.
• Demonstrates strong organization, planning, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate Supermicro single socket rackmount server solutions to customers onsite, through remote webinars and at events.
• Provide SME in cloud and hybrid-cloud computing to advise decision makers.
• Deliver engaging solution training to internal teams, partners, resellers, and customers; proficient with PowerPoint and slide design.
• Provide 3rd level customer support as needed for internal and external clients.
• Lead cross-functional teams to design data center IT solution proposals for RFI and RFP responses.
• Identify market trends and supply insights to product development; create market requirements documents.
• Collaborate with marketing to create promotional materials and reach new audiences.
