Job summary

Cisco is seeking a dynamic Senior Manager of Solutions Engineering for Amazon to orchestrate a large, high-performing sales engineering team. You will define long-term technical strategy, mentor leaders, and build executive-level relationships to drive Cisco solutions forward in hyperscale environments.

You will unite technical vision with business outcomes, coaching across dispersed teams, and shaping conditions for market success of Cisco’s portfolio in AI-powered networks.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Sales/Solutions Engineering experience.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in Sales/Solutions Engineering, with at least 5+ years in a leadership capacity (experience managing leaders is necessary).
• 2+ years of experience with cloud and AI networking technology and its industry.
• Deep Hyperscale Expertise: designing and deploying networking architectures for hyperscale environments, including Public Cloud infrastructure, massive-scale data centers, and AI/ML cluster networking.
• Enterprise Networking: experience designing enterprise/campus networks including switching, wireless, WAN products/technologies, security and observability products.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Technical Vision: define and execute the long-term technical strategy for the account, ensuring Cisco’s portfolio is deeply integrated into the customer’s hyperscale infrastructure.
• Scale Through Leadership: mentor and develop a multi-layered organization, ensuring managers coach their teams.
• Drive Cultural Excellence: maintain engagement, psychological safety, and collaboration within a geographically dispersed organization.
• Executive Influence: act as the technical advisor to the customer’s VP/CxO level, translating business challenges into Cisco-led technical outcomes.
