Job summary

Exein is seeking a dedicated Senior Solutions Engineer to join our Americas team, presenting and demoing our software to customers and partners, guiding them from initial discussions through post-deployment support. The ideal candidate will act as the chief technologist and trusted advisor, orchestrating Exein's overall technical approach with the customer across all lifecycle phases, collaborating with the Sales Account Manager and the R&D team.

Location: Remote position in the USA.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Linux/Yocto, ESP32, Zephyr and embedded build systems.
• Prior experience in a customer-facing technical role.
• Ability to understand customer requirements and deployment environments.
• Excellent communication to liaise between customers and R&D.
• Experience developing custom integration software for embedded systems.
• Familiarity with the lifecycle of an embedded product from early discussions to post-deployment support.
• Ability to translate technical knowledge into proposals, presentations, demos and workshops.

Responsibilities

• Act as the chief technologist for customer accounts and a trusted advisor to their technical teams.
• Lead technical discussions explaining how Exein's portfolio addresses customer requirements.
• Engage with new and existing customers to understand requirements and deployment environments.

• Identify and mitigate technical sales issues, influencing the overall account plan.

• Engage with new and existing customers to understand their requirements and deployment environments.
• Deliver our software products, ensuring they meet customer needs and specifications.
• Provide post-deployment support, troubleshooting, and resolving any issues that arise.
• Collaborate closely with the Sales Account Manager and the R&D team to ensure seamless communication and integration.
• Document and plan for new features based on customer feedback and requirements.
• Identify and mitigate any technical sales issues, influencing the overall account plan.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Linux/Yocto, ESP32, Zephyr, and other embedded build systems .
• Prior experience in a customer-facing technical role.
• Ability to understand customer requirements and the environments where devices are deployed.
• English Fluent, with excellent communication skills to effectively act as a liaison between customers and the R&D team.
• Experience in developing custom integration software for embedded systems.
• Familiarity with the entire lifecycle of an embedded product, from early-stage discussions through to post- deployment support.
• Ability to translate technical knowledge into proposals, presentations, standard demos, and customer workshops.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a cybersecurity company.
• Experience with low-level programming and integration of security technologies.
• Knowledge of additional embedded systems and build environments.

Salary range : $180k-$230k (depending on qualifications) plus bonus
