Job summary

PDI Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Solutions Engineer III to serve as a technical advisor during pre-sales for our POS solutions. You will translate customer challenges into tailored architectures and demonstrate value to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Collaborating with Sales, Product, and Implementation teams, you’ll deliver scalable demonstrations, support proposals, and stay ahead of market trends to guide solution strategy and ensure smooth post-sale transitions.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years in a Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, or pre-sales role in fintech/POS.
• Experience with POS systems, payment processing flows, API integrations.
• Strong written and verbal communication for diverse audiences.
• Excellent project coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to deliver high-impact technical presentations & demos.
• Familiar with CRM tools such as Salesforce and demo environments.
• Certification in pre-sales or POS systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver scalable, customer-centric POS solutions.
• Lead product demonstrations and tailored technical presentations.
• Support RFPs and proposals with clear technical responses.
• Monitor market trends and competitive offerings in payments/POS.
• Act as strategic advisor to Sales, translating requirements into blueprints.
• Collaborate with Product, Implementation, and Customer Support teams.
• Engage with customers onsite or virtually to guide solution architecture.
